I think this is the most wonderful picture of the most beautiful lighthouse.

Wow, thanks! I wouldn't have thought so because the day was so incredibly icky. It was cloudy and drizzly. And when I got closer to the lighthouse, I could see that it was in dire need of a cleaning and probably even a new paint job. I was, however, very pleased with the compositionwhich is why I included it here. Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi. I love this picture of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. I have a couple figurines of it and they are just as it looks in this picture. Great work. Keep it going.
I got a picture of the Hatteras Light House I took with a Minolta digital camera in 2004 that is far better then this one. It is hard to take a good picture of the Cape Hatteras Light House because it is so tall, but from the proper distance it can be done. We saw the Transit of Venus from near there and this was a treat. Also the spiral staircase in the light house shot from near the top about a stop high makes a great photo too.
To the gentleman named John, considering that there are millions of pictures taken by millions of people all over the world, of the Hatteras light house, ANY picture of this majestic landmark, is remarkable. But I have to say, no picture can replace the breathtaking sight of the lighthouse, for anyone lucky enough to get to see it in person.
